We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our team and ensure that our customers and open source users comply with Open Source and CKSource’s licensing principles. You will be working with Sales and Legal teams to solve potential issues that may arise among our commercial clients and open source users.

Your role: 

  • monitoring online customer sign-ups and identifying potential compliance issues
  • monitoring and identifying potential abuse associated with the use of CKSource infrastructure hosting our solutions
  • engaging with clients’ organizations’ representatives in order to solve their potential compliance issues
  • creating and maintaining an audit data repository
  • creating and maintaining a compliance reporting mechanism
  • cooperating with peers from CKSource Sales and Legal teams


  • you are fluent in spoken and written Business English
  • you are able to comfortably work in CRM-like applications (experience in using the Zendesk platform would be an advantage)
  • you are able to “connect the dots” while verifying facts about how our software is used by our clients
  • you have an overall understanding of software, Internet, and web-based applications concepts
  • you have a basic understanding of open source licensing principles and restrictions
  • you have a basic understanding of software commercial licensing principles
  • you can perform tasks systematically
  • you are able to work with reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and BI technologies
